Streaming

Digital Streaming is an important metric. We want all your hard work to make a difference to a music show win or to achieve great placements on various charts. The below guidelines are general tips for both global and korean music services.Streaming effort is about two to three weeks to be most effective and not ‘drop off’. If you have more than one device, we highly encourage you to try YouTube + 2 music services.Premium Subscriptions
For a short time, try to get a premium subscription like Spotify Premium, YouTube Premium, etc. Premium streams are weighted more on charts.
Example, Billboard one track sale = 200 premium streams = 900 non-premium streamsAlso, without Spotify Premium or Apple Music, you won’t be able to join Stationhead parties.Downloads
If your music service has both a purchase download and streaming (for example, iTunes is your purchase download and Apple Music is your streaming platform) make sure to delete any downloaded tracks before you start focus-streaming. Or else, your streams won’t count! This similarly applies to other music services too.Pre-save
If pre-save is available, go and pre-save JAEHYUN's solo album! It will give an indication of interest for his release and increase chances of being placed on a playlist with other popular artists.Do

Hanteo measures the actual physical sales of albums at approved stores. The majority of approved sellers are in Korea, but various international stores also count to Hanteo. You can check if a seller is eligible on the Physical Albums section.
